I'll Deck You is a new decking design and visualization service, providing state of the art computer rendering and design for your dream deck. With many people deciding to make changes to their existing home due to the economy, decks have sky-rocketed as one of the more popular home improvement projects. So for $.25 a square foot - how much risk is there? Oh wait! None, because.....

I'll Deck You, provides the visualization and realistic immersive environment you need, to make the deck of your dreams come to fruition. Using DeckTools software, we can model various wood species, composite decking materials including; Timbertech, Fiberon and others, as well as, hundreds of combinations of railings and deck features so you can have the most realistic visual prior to build. We can insert fireplaces, BBQ's, spa's and even have mother nature enter in with the wind gently blowing the surrounding trees. All of this while seeing cost estimates change on the fly.

Here is how it works...

1. Take measurements of your home. Eg: If you want to put the deck on the back of your house, take full measurements of the entire back of your house. Include doorways, windows, sliders and french doors. Let us know whether this is a deck off the second floor...

2. Draw out your house on a piece of paper. Be as accurate as you can.

3. Sketch out the deck you are thinking about and any special features or obstructions in the way/area - Eg: trees, rocks, rivers, other homes...

4. Copy/Scan your design and email it to wewilldeckyou@gmail.com

5. Once received, we will begin the rendering process and come back to you with a design for your review. We will work with you to get the design as spot on as we can. Designs will be in full 3D color and I'll Deck You will upload the deck design to a private spot on YouTube for a 360 degree fly around if you desire.

6. Once complete, I'll Deck You will send you the necessary files to hand to a "qualified" contractor and/or engineer. This is where I'll Deck You makes two recommendations; make sure you've had this deck properly engineered taking into account seismic, high wind, proper per square foot loading, codes for railings, proper post and beam sizing and deck to house connections and, make sure you are building to your local building codes. This is where an engineer is essential. Don't skimp here. Do it right. And one more reminder... we are "designers" not engineers!

7. I'll Deck You will provide AutoCad files so you can hand these to your engineer as well as bill of materials and cut lists for contractors.

8. I'll Deck You can estimate the costs of the deck from a materials standpoint, as well as estimate labor, but there are no guarantees as pricing will vary in your area.

Size of Deck dictates the cost, but suffice it to say...

$.25 a square foot is the design fee. So a 10'x10' deck? $25!

add $15 for more than one staircase.

add $15 for multi-level decks.

Payment is due upon completion of the design. We accept all major credit cards via PAYPAL, which is recommended since they take all credit cards and have a dispute process, if one arises. Timing on the rendering is 2-4 days. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, it depends on work load. Prior to us releasing the full high resolution pics, bill of material and parts list we will require payment via Paypal.
